You are operating under that misconception that cybersecurity is a single occupation. Cybersecurity is, in fact, an umbrella industry of many different types of roles.

Some roles would indeed favour those who have a more mathematical mind, such as cryptography. But even cryptography is a limited set of maths problems, like understanding factoring prime numbers.
Many roles do not need maths. In my career maths has only been used to calculate my invoices to clients. I would not concern yourself about the need for maths in cyber security. Just don't pick a role where maths is required.
