As you are probably aware, Cyber Security is concerned mostly with the protection of assets. So it means in this course we mainly cover defensive controls to mitigate threats. Part of understanding how to mitigate threats is to understand the threats. So we look at how hackers hack. I "Expose" hackers. So, for example, I show how phishing attacks work. But this is NOT to teach hacking and how to Phish - although you could follow the techniques. It is to understand how to mitigate those attacks. i.e. to provide cyber security. When you start to get to the level of using, for example, Metasploit you are learning about attack more than you need to know in order to apply effective security.
So that level of detail needs to be a separate course in my view. With the four volumes, this will already be a 50-hour course which is more than most people can handle already!
The complete cyber security course covers defence. Hacking courses cover attack.
